Đến Cao Bằng mang đặc sản gì về làm quà?

Đến với Cao Bằng, ngoài thưởng lãm các danh thắng, du khách còn được tham quan một số làng nghề truyền thống: làng rèn Phúc Sen (Quảng Uyên), làng dệt thổ cẩm xã Đào Ngạn (Hà Quảng)…, cùng thưởng thức những đặc sản, món ăn ẩm thực mang đậm nét riêng của địa phương như: hạt dẻ Trùng Khánh, bánh cuốn, phở chua, lợn sữa quay… Mùa nào thức ấy, nhưng có một số sản vật luôn có sẵn, du khách có thể mua về làm quà cho người thân trong chuyến đi.

 

Rau dạ hiến

Đây là loại rau rất đặc biệt bởi chúng chỉ mọc trên núi đá, có lẽ chính vì vậy mà hương vị của loại rau này cũng rất khác lạ. Rau có vị thơm nồng, vừa giòn, ngọt, lại bùi béo. Ngoài giá trị ẩm thực, loại rau này còn có tác dụng chữa bệnh rất tốt nên thường được khách du lịch mua về sử dụng và làm quà.

Trùng Khánh – Cao Bằng là nơi có loại hạt dẻ to, tròn, béo ngậy và thơm ngon không nơi nào có được. Dù chế biến theo cách luộc, rang hay nấu cùng thực phẩm khác hạt dẻ nơi đây vẫn giữ được hương vị rất đặc trưng và chắc chắn bạn sẽ chẳng thể quên được hương vị ấy nếu vô tình được thưởng thức dù chỉ một lần.

Bánh khảo

Cũng giống như bánh cáy của Thái Bình hay chè lam của Thanh Hóa thì bánh khảo là loại bánh truyền thống của người Cao Bằng. Với nguyên liệu làm bánh từ bột gạo nếp kết hợp với thịt mỡ, lạc hoặc vừng rang làm nhân trải qua nhiều công đoạn cuối cùng bánh khảo có mùi thơm ngon, để lâu mà không bị hỏng. Đặc biệt người dân địa phương thường làm bánh này vào những dịp lễ Tết để mời bạn bè. Lạp sườn và thịt hun khói là món ăn phổ biến của người dân miền núi trong đó có Cao Bằng. Hương vị lạp sườn nơi này có vị đậm đà của thịt nạc đã được tẩm ướp các loại gia vị, mùi thơm thơm của thịt hun khói và có cả vị chua của lá mắc mật, gừng núi. Lạp sườn dễ dàng chế biến bằng cách rán vàng đều hoặc nướng trên than hoa nên cực kì thích hợp để làm quà tặng, vừa giản dị lại vô cùng độc đáo.

 

Trám đen

Trám đen là món ăn cực kì dân dã của người Cao Bằng,  tuy nhiên đối với các du khách thì lại là một đặc sản vô cùng mới lạ. Trám có cùi dày, mùi thơm đặc trưng, ăn có vị bùi lại rất lạ miệng. Đặc biệt trám có thể bảo quản được rất lâu để dùng dần nên rất được khách du lịch ưa chuộng.
